ATM
A collaborative work with my friend, Mac Mcdonnell. Mac is an old friend who happens to be an accomplished photographer. I used his photo as reference for this painting. The location is a rather important landmark in downtown Austin Texas. It is called Stubb;s BBQ. It is a performance venue that holds about 1500 people. Mac has lived in Austin for several decades and takes many pictures of the buildings, streets and people who he sees. This street scene caught my eye and we decided it would make an interesting painting. I love the combination of people, buildings, construction markers, and street signs.
