Kirk Douglas RIP
We lost this icon of stage and screen in 2020 at the age of 103. He has entertained the baby boomers (me included) for most of their lives. His career spanned 90 films and many decades. My first movie memory with Kirk in it was Spartacus. I selected this pose from a video interview filmed some thirty years ago. The video was a bit grainy, but I managed to get a good likeness and painting from it anyway. He will always be remembered.
